In December 2021 ”George Barițiu” College of Economics organized a charity activity encouraging students and teachers to offer Christmas presents to the ones less fortunate by donating clothes, toys, books, etc. within the college campaign Christmas Box organized within the Erasmus+ project Our life in our hands. The activity had as main objective raising awareness of the fact that resources can be reused and waste can be considerably reduced thus benefiting not only other people but also the environment. On 21st December 2021 the nicely packed presents were taken to a social home and offered to orphan children or to youngsters with financial and health problems sheltered by Prichindelul, bringing a smile and a glitter of hope in their eyes.
